Dr. Jason Jager grew up in the Chicago suburbs and earned his Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago where he achieved Dean’s List honors numerous times. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois in Urbana/Champaign.

He achieved clinical honors on rotations at the Ochsner Health Center in New Orleans, where he focused on primary care, low vision, and contact lens fittings; as well as at the Optometric Vision Development Center in LaJolla, California where he focused on pediatrics and vision therapy.

Dr. Jager completed rotations at the Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago within the glaucoma, retina and cornea departments and at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Boston, focusing on ocular disease.
